I started involving myself actively in social, literary and cultural activities in Chennai since 2001.
As Founder and Managing Trustee of “Babuji Memorial Trust”, founded in the year 2001, I have extended help for the education of poor Telugu students and have provided medical help to poor villagers by conducting more than 150 medical camps so far by contributing about Rs.50 Lakhs from our family funds.
As a Telugu Literature enthusiast I have been doing a sincere service for its promotion as the Founder -President of “Veda VijnanaVedika”, a Trust formed in 2011, byconducting literary meetings every month since inception.
As an enthusiast of Cultural activities I have been supporting Telugu Cultural activities as the Founder Member of “International Federation of Kuchipudi Artists”.
As Treasurer of ASCA for four years (from 2005-06 to 2008-09) I was very much instrumental in correcting the financial discrepancies in ASCA by reforming the systems in the association and making the association earn a profit of about Rs.50 Lakhs per annum which was previously incurring a loss of Rs.40-50 lakhs per annum. As Managing Trustee of ASCA Trust for 2 years (2009-10 and 2010-11) I have revived the activities of trust by getting the renewal of exemption U/s.80G of The Income Tax Act. Further, I was also incharge of the cultural activities for 5 years (2006-07 to 2010-11)and I have put in all my efforts in conducting several cultural activities which have received appreciation from not only our members but also from the Telugu community at large in Chennai.
I have also extended my services to Cosmopolitan club, Chennai as sub-committee member of the Finance Committee and Rooms Committee and to T.Nagar Club as Member of Finance Committee.
Having settled my family in all respects, I want to serve the Poor and Needy in all possible ways, since I believe that serving the people is the real service to God. Further, I want to contribute to some extent my time & money for bringing back the past glory to Telugu Language.
